Ana Maria Cristina Polo Gonzalez is a TV arbitrator from Cuba and America who works for Caso Cerrado, is the host of Ana Polo Rules. Ana Polo Gonzalez was raised in Havana Cuba and moved with her family to Miami in the year two. Ana Maria Polo was born in Habana in Cuba. She is currently the host of the Telemundo Show "Caso Cerrado", which is a Spanish programming on television that was nominated by the Daytime Entertainment Emmy Award. In 2015, she was ranked the best Spanish-language program at 4pm, for important demonstrations. Polo is a Cuban-born American and was born April 11, 1959. She went to Florida International University and graduated with a degree in political science. From there she earned her PhD in law at the University of Miami and practiced law for twenty years within the City of Miami. After obtaining her PhD at the University of Miami she practiced law in Miami for over 20 years. Polo was the first to make an appearance on television in 2001, as part of Telemundo's Sala de Parejas. Her legal skills were also used to produce other court programs. Literature Awards She wrote Los Hijos Muertos in 1958. The novel was awarded the Critic's Award, as well as it was also awarded the Spanish National Prize for Literature. Ana Maria Matute left Spain to move to her home in the United States in 1960. Polo, an ovarian cancer survivor, regularly raises funds for the charity and also speaks at various events. Polo has been an activist in support of LGBT issues. She has been an active Florida Bar member since 1987, and has graduated in law at the University of Miami School of Law.
