Rosalia

Rosalia Vila (aka Rosalia) is an Spanish flamenco and pop vocalist. She has been a part of the fringes of both traditional and popular music since she was a teenager, she is also involved in other music genres like hip-hop soul and trap. Pepe Habichuela Flamenco guitarist of great talent, described her voice by saying it is sweet, with a traditional sound. El Mal Querer gained her notoriety and commercial success when her debut album Los Angeles was released in 2017. This album won her an award called the Latin Grammy Award for Best New Artist. The hit single La Fama featuring the Weeknd came out in 2021. Motomami was her 3rd studio album. She worked with numerous performers and musicians including Cory Henry. In March 2022 the set began to be released in conjunction with the Saturday Night Live performance of Chicken Teriyaki. Rosalia was first Spanish artist to perform solo in the program. Rosala from Motomami who was awarded the Latin Album of the Year and three Latin Grammy Awards in total for Motomami also became the very first woman to do so.
