As a result of her performance, she was nominated as well as winning many Awards. They included seven consecutive Screen Actors Guild Awards as Outstanding Performance by Female Actors in Comedy Series. Mullally's first acting role was in the McDonald's commercial that featured John Goodman. Mullally made her debut on The Ellen Burstyn Show, an episode that ran from 1986. She was a member of her ballet troupe, the Oklahoma City Ballet and also went to the School of American Ballet, New York City during her senior years in high school.
